Dvandva-Yuddha: The Onset of Single Combats
अङ्गदेन्द्रजित्सार्धंवालिपुत्रेणराक्षसः ।आयुध्यतमहातेजास्त्ऱ्यम्बकेणयथाऽन्तकः ।।6.43.6।।
aṅgada indrajit sārdhaṃ vāliputreṇa rākṣasaḥ |
āyudhyata mahātejās tryambakeṇa yathā 'ntakaḥ ||6.43.6||
അനന്തരം മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ള രാക്ഷസനായ ഇന്ദ്രജിത്, വാലിപുത്രനായ അങ്കദനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു—അന്തകൻ ത്ര്യംബകനെ (ശിവനെ) നേരിടുന്നതുപോലെ.
In that manner the Rakshasa warriors and the Vanara warriors fought the duel wonderfully and like the way Devatas killed the Demons, the Rakshasas were killed.
Dharma is shown through fearless resistance: even against overwhelming power, a righteous ally stands firm and meets the threat directly.
