लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash
एतस्मिन्नन्तरेघोरःसङ्ग्रामःसमवर्तत ।रक्षसांवानराणांचयथादेवासुरेपुरा ।।।।
etasminn antare ghoraḥ saṅgrāmaḥ samavartata |
rakṣasāṃ vānarāṇāṃ ca yathā devāsure purā ||
അതിനിടയിൽ രാക്ഷസന്മാരും വാനരന്മാരും തമ്മിൽ ഭയങ്കരമായൊരു യുദ്ധം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു—പുരാതനകാലത്തെ ദേവാസുരസമരത്തെപ്പോലെ.
