लङ्काप्राकारारोहणम् / Assault on Lanka’s Ramparts and the Opening Clash
शङ्खदुन्दुभिसंघुष्टःसिम्हनादस्तरस्विनाम् ।पृथिवींचान्तरिक्षंचसागरंचैवनादयन् ।।।।
śaṅkha-dundubhi-saṅghuṣṭaḥ siṃhanādas tarasvinām |
pṛthivīṃ cāntarikṣaṃ ca sāgaraṃ caiva nādayan ||
ശംഖധ്വനിയും ദുന്ദുഭികളുടെ മുഴക്കവും ചേർന്ന ബലവാന്മാരുടെ സിംഹനാദം ഭൂമിയെയും ആകാശത്തെയും സമുദ്രത്തെയും വരെ മുഴക്കിച്ചു.
