तेन्तरिक्षाद्विनिर्धूतास्तस्यवेगेनराक्षसाः ।भूमौनिपतिताःसर्वेराक्षसेन्द्रस्यपश्यतः ।।6.41.88।।
te 'ntarikṣād vinirdhūtās tasya vegena rākṣasāḥ |
bhūmau nipatitāḥ sarve rākṣasendrasya paśyataḥ ||6.41.88||
അവന്റെ വേഗത്താൽ ആകാശത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തെറിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട ആ രാക്ഷസന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും, രാക്ഷസേന്ദ്രനായ രാവണൻ നോക്കി നിൽക്കേ, ഭൂമിയിൽ വീണു പതിച്ചു.
