समुद्रतट-प्रयाणम् तथा वेलावन-निवेशः
March to the Seacoast and Encampment at the Shore
रत्नौघ जलसन्नादं विषक्तमिव वायुना ।उत्पतन्तमिव क्रुद्धं यादोगणसमाकुलम् ।।।।ददृशुस्ते महोत्साह वाताहतजलाशयम् ।अनिलोद्धूतमाकाशे प्रवल्गन्त ममिवोर्मिभिः ।।।।
ratnaugha-jalasannādaṃ viṣaktam iva vāyunā |
utpatantam iva kruddhaṃ yādogaṇasamākulam ||
dadṛśus te mahotsāhā vātāhatajalāśayam |
aniloddhūtam ākāśe pravalgantam ivormibhiḥ ||
ആ മഹോത്സാഹികളായ യോദ്ധാക്കൾ സമുദ്രത്തെ കണ്ടു—രത്നസമൂഹങ്ങളുടെ മീതെ ജലനാദം മുഴങ്ങുന്ന, കാറ്റാൽ അമർത്തി കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തതുപോലെ; ക്രുദ്ധനായതുപോലെ ഉയർന്നു പൊങ്ങുന്ന, ജലചരഗണങ്ങളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞ; കാറ്റാൽ തള്ളപ്പെട്ട തിരമാലകൾ ഒന്നിന് പിന്നാലെ ആകാശത്തിലേക്ക് ചാടുന്നതുപോലെ.
