माल्यवानुपदेशः—रावणक्रोधः तथा लङ्काद्वाररक्षा-व्यवस्था

वीरद्वेषेणवाशङ्केपक्षपातेनवारिपोः ।त्वयाहंपरुषाण्युक्तःपरप्रोत्साहनेनवा ।।।।
vīradveṣeṇa vā śaṅke pakṣapātena vā ripoh | tvayāhaṃ paruṣāṇy uktaḥ paraprotsāhanena vā || 6.36.6 ||
ശത്രുവേ, വീരനോടുള്ള ദ്വേഷം കൊണ്ടോ, ശത്രുപക്ഷപാതം കൊണ്ടോ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മറ്റുള്ളവരുടെ പ്രേരണ കൊണ്ടോ നീ എന്നോടു കഠിനവചനങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നുവെന്നു ഞാൻ സംശയിക്കുന്നു.
