Malyavan’s Counsel, Portents in Laṅkā, and the Proposal of Alliance
काळिकाःपाण्डुरैर्दन्तै: प्रहसन्त्यग्रतःस्थिताः ।स्त्रियस्स्वप्नेषुमुष्ण्नत्योगृहाणिप्रतिभाष्यच ।।।।
kāḷikāḥ pāṇḍurair dantaiḥ prahasanti agrataḥ sthitāḥ | striyaḥ svapneṣu muṣṇantyo gṛhāṇi pratibhāṣya ca ||
കരിമ്പടലപോലെ കറുത്തും വെളുത്ത പല്ലുകളുമായ സ്ത്രീകൾ സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ മുന്നിൽ നിന്നു ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അപശകുനവാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞ് വീടുകളെ കൊള്ളയടിക്കുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ തോന്നുന്നു.
