शुकवाक्यं (Śuka’s Report on the Vānara Host) / Śuka Describes the Allied Forces to Rāvaṇa
यौतौपश्यसितिष्ठन्तौकुमारौदेवरूपिणौ ।मैन्दश्चद्विविदश्चोभौताभ्यांनास्तिसमोयुधि ।।6.28.6।।
yau tau paśyasi tiṣṭhantau kumārau devarūpiṇau |
maindaś ca dvividaś cobhau tābhyāṃ nāsti samo yudhi ||6.28.6||
അവിടെ നിൽക്കുന്ന ദേവസദൃശരൂപമുള്ള ആ രണ്ടു യുവാക്കളെ കാണുന്നുവോ? അവർ മൈന്ദനും ദ്വിവിദനും ആകുന്നു; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അവർക്കു തുല്യൻ ആരുമില്ല.
"Do you see two of them standing there? They are young and have the form of gods. They are Mainda and Dwivida. Both of them are similar in war and none equal them in war."
Dharma here highlights truthful assessment in counsel: a messenger must report strength and reality as it is, not flatter power.
