शतंशतसहस्राणांकोटिमाहुर्मनीषिणः ।शतंकोटिसहस्राणांशङ्कु: इत्यभिधीयते ।।6.28.33।।
śataṃ śatasahasrāṇāṃ koṭim āhur manīṣiṇaḥ |
śataṃ koṭisahasrāṇāṃ śaṅkur ity abhidhīyate ||6.28.33||
മനീഷികൾ പറയുന്നു: നൂറു ഗുണിച്ച നൂറായിരം ‘കോടി’ എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; കൂടാതെ നൂറു ഗുണിച്ച ആയിരം കോടികൾ ‘ശങ്കു’ എന്നു അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.
