ज्येष्ठःकेसरिणःपुत्त्रोवातात्मजइतिश्रुतः ।हनूमानितिविख्यातोलङ्घितोयेनसागरः ।।6.28.10।।

Transliteration

jyeṣṭhaḥ kesariṇaḥ putro vātātmaja iti śrutaḥ |

hanūmān iti vikhyāto laṅghito yena sāgaraḥ ||6.28.10||

Translation

അവൻ കേസരിയുടെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠപുത്രനും വായുദേവന്റെ ആത്മജനും എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധൻ; ഹനുമാൻ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ ലോകവിഖ്യാതൻ, അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് സാഗരം ലംഘിച്ചത്.
