विभीषणागमनम्
Vibhīṣaṇa’s Arrival and the Debate on Refuge
ऋतेनियोगात्सामर्थ्यमवबोद्धुंनशक्यते ।सहसाविनियोगोहिदोषवान्प्रतिभातिमे ।।6.17.54।।
ṛte niyogāt sāmarthyam avaboddhuṃ na śakyate | sahasā viniyogo hi doṣavān pratibhāti me || 6.17.54 ||
നിശ്ചിത നിയോഗമില്ലാതെ ഒരാളുടെ സാമർത്ഥ്യം അറിയാൻ കഴിയില്ല; ആലോചനയില്ലാതെ പെട്ടെന്ന് ഏൽപ്പിക്കുന്ന നിയോഗം എനിക്ക് ദോഷകരമായി തോന്നുന്നു.
"When entrusted with duty one's capability will be known. It is not possible to appoint him for duty inconsiderately without understanding (his capacity) as it will be faulty."
