Ravana’s Harsh Reply to Vibhishana’s Counsel
श्रूयन्तेहस्तिभिर्गीताश्श्लोकाःपद्मवनेक्वचित् ।पाशहस्तान्नरान्द्रुष्टवाशृणुतान्गदतोमम ।।।।
śrūyante hastibhir gītāḥ ślokāḥ padmavane kvacit |
pāśa-hastān narān dṛṣṭvā śṛṇutān gadato mama ||
ഒരിക്കൽ പദ്മവനത്തിൽ, പാശം കൈവശമുള്ള മനുഷ്യരെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ആനകൾ പാടിയ ശ്ലോകങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കപ്പെട്ടുവെന്ന് പറയുന്നു. ഞാൻ പറയുന്ന ആ ശ്ലോകങ്ങൾ ശ്രവിക്കുവിൻ.
