प्रथानंसाधनंवैद्यंधर्मशीलंचराक्षस: ।ज्ञातयोह्यवमन्यन्तेशूरंपरिभवन्तिच ।।।।

Transliteration

pradhānaṃ sādhanaṃ vaidyaṃ dharmaśīlaṃ ca rākṣasaḥ |

jñātayo hy avamanyante śūraṃ paribhavanti ca ||

Translation

ഹേ രാക്ഷസാ, ഒരു പ്രധാനൻ കഴിവുള്ളവനും പണ്ഡിതനും ധർമ്മനിഷ്ഠനും, വീരനും ആയിരുന്നാലും, അവന്റെ സ്വന്തം ബന്ധുക്കൾ അവനെ അവഗണിച്ച് അപമാനിക്കും.
