स विज्ञायततश्छन्दंरामस्याकारसूचितम् ।चितांचकारसौमित्रिर्मतेरामस्यवीर्यवान् ।।।।

sa vijñāya tataś chandaṃ rāmasyākārasūcitam | citāṃ cakāra saumitrir mate rāmasya vīryavān || 6.119.21 ||

രാമന്റെ മുഖഭാവം സൂചിപ്പിച്ച ഉദ്ദേശം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ്, വീരനായ സൗമിത്രി (ലക്ഷ്മണൻ) രാമന്റെ തീരുമാനപ്രകാരം നിലത്ത് ചിത ഒരുക്കി.
