रावणस्य अन्त्येष्टिः

Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct

इत्येवमुच्यमानासासशब्दंप्ररुरोद ह ।।।।स्नापयन्तीतदास्रेणस्तनौवक्रंसुनिर्मलम् ।

ity evam ucyamānā sā saśabdaṁ praruroda ha |

snāpayantī tadāśreṇa stanau vakraṁ sunirmalam ||

ഇങ്ങനെ ഉപദേശിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടും അവൾ വീണ്ടും ഉച്ചത്തിൽ കരഞ്ഞു; കണ്ണീരാൽ തന്റെ സ്തനങ്ങളെയും വക്രമായ അത്യന്തം നിർമലമായ മുഖത്തെയും നനച്ചു കുളിപ്പിച്ചു.
