रावणस्य अन्त्येष्टिः
Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
हेत्वर्थयुक्तंविधिवच्छ्रेयस्करमदारुणम् ।विभीषणेनाभिहितं न कृतंहेतुमत्त्वया ।।।।
hetv-artha-yuktaṁ vidhivat śreyaskaram adāruṇam | vibhīṣaṇenābhihitaṁ na kṛtaṁ hetumattvayā ||
വിഭീഷണൻ കാരണസഹിതവും അർത്ഥയുക്തവും വിധിപൂർവ്വവും ശ്രേയസ്കരവും കടുപ്പമില്ലാത്തതുമായ വചനം പറഞ്ഞു; എങ്കിലും നീ ആ ഹിതോപദേശം അനുസരിച്ചില്ല, ഹേ ഹേതുമതിയില്ലാത്തവനേ.
