Ravana’s Chariot, Portents, and Rama–Matali Instructions
कुर्वन्त: कलहंघोरंशारिकास्तद्रथंप्रति ।।।।निपेतुश्शतशस्तत्रदारुणादारुणारुताः ।
kurvantaḥ kalahaṃ ghoraṃ śārikās tad-rathaṃ prati |
nipetuḥ śataśas tatra dāruṇā dāruṇārutāḥ ||
ഘോര കലഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കി ഭീതിജനകമായ നിലവിളികൾ മുഴക്കിക്കൊണ്ട്, കഠിന കൂജനമുള്ള ശാരികാപക്ഷികൾ അവിടെ ആ രഥത്തിന്മേൽ നൂറുകണക്കിന് വീണിറങ്ങി—അത്യന്തം ദാരുണമായി.
