निहत्यराघवस्यास्त्रंरावणःक्रोधमूर्छितः ।।6.100.40।।असुरंसुमहाघोरमन्यदस्त्रं चकारसः ।
nihatya rāghavasyāstraṃ rāvaṇaḥ krodhamūrcchitaḥ || 6.100.40 ||
asuraṃ sumahāghoram anyad astraṃ cakāra saḥ |
രാഘവന്റെ അസ്ത്രം നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കി, ക്രോധത്തിൽ മൂർഛിതനായ രാവണൻ അസുരബലസമ്പന്നമായ അത്യന്തം ഭയങ്കരമായ മറ്റൊരു അസ്ത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ച് പ്രയോഗിച്ചു.
