हनूमद्वृत्तान्तः—वानरबलप्रशंसा च

अहं तु रावणं युद्धे ससैन्यं सपुरस्सरम्।सहपुत्त्रं वधिष्यामि सहोदरयुतं युधि।।।।
ahaṃ tu rāvaṇaṃ yuddhe sa-sainyaṃ sa-puraḥsaram |
sa-puttraṃ vadhiṣyāmi sa-hodara-yutaṃ yudhi ||5.59.9||
ഞാൻ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയിൽ രാവണനെ—അവന്റെ സൈന്യത്തോടും പരിവാര-പരിചാരകരോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും സഹോദരന്മാരോടും കൂടി—നിശ്ചയമായി വധിക്കും.
