हनूमद्वृत्तान्तः—वानरबलप्रशंसा च

भवतामभ्यनुज्ञातो विक्रमो मे रुणद्धि तम्।।5.59.11।।मयातुला विसृष्टा हि शैलवृष्टिर्निरन्तरा।देवानपि रणे हन्यात्किं पुनस्तान्निशाचरान्।।5.59.12।।
bhavatām abhyanujñāto vikramo me ruṇaddhi tān || 5.59.11 ||
mayā tulā visṛṣṭā hi śailavṛṣṭir nirantarā |
devān api raṇe hanyāt kiṃ punas tān niśācarān || 5.59.12 ||
“നിങ്ങളുടെ അനുവാദത്തോടെ എന്റെ വീര്യം അവരെ തടഞ്ഞ് തകർത്തുകളയും. യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അഴിച്ചുവിടുന്ന അതുല്യവും നിരന്തരവുമായ ശിലാവൃഷ്ടി ദേവന്മാരെയെങ്കിലും നശിപ്പിക്കാം; പിന്നെ രാത്രിചര രാക്ഷസന്മാർ എത്ര മാത്രം!”
