सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
तत्राहं सर्वरात्रं तु विचिन्वन् जनकात्मजाम्।रावणान्तःपुरगतो न चापश्यं सुमध्यमाम्।।।।
tatrāhaṃ sarva-rātraṃ tu vicinvan janakātmajām |
rāvaṇāntaḥpura-gato na cāpaśyaṃ su-madhyamām ||
അവിടെ രാവണന്റെ അന്തഃപുരത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച്, ഞാൻ മുഴുവൻ രാത്രി ജനകാത്മജയെ അന്വേഷിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും ആ സുമധ്യമയായ ദേവിയെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടില്ല.
