सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
तेन वालिनमुत्पाट्य शरेणैकेन संयुगे।वानराणां महाराजः कृतस्स प्लवतां प्रभुः।।।।
tena vālinam utpāṭya śareṇaikena saṃyuge | vānarāṇāṃ mahārājaḥ kṛtaḥ sa plavatāṃ prabhuḥ ||
പിന്നീട് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഒരൊറ്റ അമ്പുകൊണ്ട് വാലിയെ വീഴ്ത്തി, സുഗ്രീവനെ വാനരസേനയുടെ മഹാരാജാവായും പ്ലവഗങ്ങളുടെ പ്രഭുവായും ആക്കി.
