सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
अथ मामब्रवीत्सीता गृह्यतामयमुत्तमः।मणिर्येन महाबाहू रामस्त्वां बहुमन्यते।।।।
atha mām abravīt sītā gṛhyatām ayam uttamaḥ |
maṇir yena mahābāhū rāmas tvāṃ bahu manyate ||
അപ്പോൾ സീത എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞു: “ഈ ശ്രേഷ്ഠമണിയെ സ്വീകരിക്കൂ; ഇതിലൂടെ മഹാബാഹുവായ രാമൻ നിന്നെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞ് നിന്നെ മഹത്തായി മാനിക്കും.”
