अहो खलु कृतं कर्म दुष्करं हि हनूमता।अग्निं विसृजताऽभीक्ष्णं भीमं राक्षसवेश्मनि।।।।

aho khalu kṛtaṃ karma duṣkaraṃ hi hanūmatā | agniṃ visṛjatābhīkṣṇaṃ bhīmaṃ rākṣasa-veśmani ||

അഹോ! ഹനുമാൻ അത്യന്തം ദുഷ്കരമായ കര്‍മ്മം നിർവഹിച്ചു—രാക്ഷസവീടുകളിൽ നിരന്തരം ഭയങ്കരമായ അഗ്നിയെ വിടർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട്.
