अर्दयित्वा पुरीं लङ्कामभिवाद्य च मैथिलीम्।समृद्धार्थो गमिष्यामि मिषतां सर्वरक्षसाम्।।।।

Transliteration

ardayitvā purīṃ laṅkām abhivādya ca maithilīm |

samṛddhārtho gamiṣyāmi miṣatāṃ sarva-rakṣasām ||

Translation

ലങ്കാപുരിയെ തകർത്തു, മൈഥിലിയെ (സീതയെ) വന്ദിച്ച്, എല്ലാ രാക്ഷസരും നോക്കി നിൽക്കേ, ലക്ഷ്യം സഫലമാക്കി ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെടും.
