अहमप्यस्य भीतास्मि नैनं जानामि को न्वयं।वेद्मि राक्षसमेवैनं कामरूपिणमागतम्।।5.42.10।।
aham apy asya bhītāsmi nainaṃ jānāmi ko nv ayaṃ |
vedmi rākṣasam evainaṃ kāmarūpiṇam āgatam ||
ഞാനും അവനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു; ഇവൻ ആരാണെന്ന് എനിക്ക് അറിയില്ല. ഇത്രമാത്രം അറിയാം—ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ രൂപം ധരിച്ച് ഇവിടെ വന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ഈവൻ കാമരൂപിയായ ഒരു രാക്ഷസനാണ്.
