Hanuman’s Stealth Entry and Survey of Lanka

प्रजज्वाल ततो लङ्का रक्षोगणगृहैः शुभैः।।5.4.6।।सिताभ्रसदृशैश्चित्रैः पद्मस्वस्तिकसंस्थितैः।वर्धमानगृहैश्चापि सर्वतः सुविभूषिता।।5.4.7।।

prajajvāla tato laṅkā rakṣo-gaṇa-gṛhaiḥ śubhaiḥ |

sitābhra-sadṛśaiś citraiḥ padma-svastika-saṁsthitaiḥ |

vardhamāna-gṛhaiś cāpi sarvataḥ su-vibhūṣitā ||

അപ്പോൾ ലങ്കാ രാക്ഷസഗണങ്ങളുടെ ശുഭഗൃഹങ്ങളാൽ എല്ലാടവും ദീപ്തിയായി—വെളുത്ത മേഘങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ പ്രകാശമുള്ളതും, വിചിത്രചിത്രങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കൃതവും, പദ്മവും സ്വസ്തികവും അടയാളങ്ങളായി പതിഞ്ഞതും, ഉയരം ഉയരമായി വളരുന്ന മഹാമന്ദിരങ്ങളാൽ എല്ലാ ദിക്കിലും മനോഹരമായി വിഭൂഷിതവുമായിരുന്നു।
