Hanuman’s Stealth Entry and Survey of Lanka
शुश्राव काञ्चीनिनदं नूपुराणां च, निःस्वनम्।सोपाननिनदांश्चैव भवनेषु महात्मनाम्।।।।अस्फोटितनिनादांश्च क्ष्वेलितांश्च ततस्ततः।
śuśrāva kāñcīninadaṃ nūpurāṇāṃ ca niḥsvanam |
sopānaninadāṃś caiva bhavaneṣu mahātmanām ||5.4.11||
asphoṭitaninādāṃś ca kṣvelitāṃś ca tatas tataḥ |
അവൻ കാഞ്ചിയുടെ ഝണഝണയും നൂപുരങ്ങളുടെ നിശ്ശബ്ദനാദവും കേട്ടു; മഹാത്മാക്കളുടെ ഭവനങ്ങളിൽ പടികളിലൂടെ കാൽച്ചുവടുകളുടെ മുഴക്കവും. ഇവിടെ അവിടെ കൈയടികളുടെ ശബ്ദവും കളിയാർന്ന പരിഹാസവാക്കുകളും കൂടി കേട്ടു।
Great Hanuman heard the jingling sounds of waist bells and anklets of women and sounds of great men climbing up and down flights of steps, sounds of clapping and joking everywhere in the mansions.
