स मे हरिश्रेष्ठ सलक्ष्मणं पतिं सयूथपं क्षिप्रमिहोपपादय।चिराय रामं प्रति शोककर्शितां कुरुष्व मां वानरमुख्य हर्षिताम्।।।।

sa me hariśreṣṭha salakṣmaṇaṁ patiṁ sayūthapaṁ kṣipram ihopapādaya |

cirāya rāmaṁ prati śokakarśitāṁ kuruṣva māṁ vānaramukhya harṣitām ||

അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ ഹരിശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! എന്റെ പ്രഭുവായ ശ്രീരാമനെ ലക്ഷ്മണനോടും സേനാനായകനോടും കൂടി വേഗം ഇവിടെ എത്തിക്കൂ. ഹേ വാനരമുഖ്യാ! രാമവിരഹശോകത്തിൽ ദീർഘകാലം ക്ഷീണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന എന്നെ ആനന്ദിതയാക്കൂ.
