न चास्य माता न पिता च नान्यः स्नेहाद्विशिष्टोऽस्ति मया समो वा।तावत्त्वहं दूत जिजीविषेयं यावत्प्रवृत्तिं शृणुयां प्रियस्य।।।।

Transliteration

na cāsya mātā na pitā ca nānyaḥ snehād viśiṣṭo 'sti mayā samo vā | tāvat tv ahaṁ dūta jijīviṣeyaṁ yāvat pravṛttiṁ śṛṇuyāṁ priyasya ||

Translation

അവന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിൽ എന്നെക്കാൾ മേലുള്ളവൾ അവന്റെ അമ്മയുമല്ല, അച്ഛനുമല്ല, മറ്റാരുമല്ല; സമനുമില്ല. ഹേ ദൂതാ, എന്റെ പ്രിയന്റെ വാർത്ത കേൾക്കുന്നവരെ മാത്രം ഞാൻ ജീവിക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.
