तां तु रामकथां श्रुत्वा वैदेही वानरर्षभात्।उवाच वचनं सान्त्वमिदं मधुरया गिरा।।।।
tāṃ tu rāma-kathāṃ śrutvā vaidehī vānararṣabhāt | uvāca vacanaṃ sāntvam idaṃ madhurayā girā ||
വാനരശ്രേഷ്ഠനിൽ നിന്നു രാമകഥ കേട്ട വൈദേഹി, മധുരവാണിയോടെ ഈ ആശ്വാസവചനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
