Sita’s Lament and Prophecy of Lanka’s Ruin
नाजानाज्जीवतीं रामस्स मां लक्ष्मणपूर्वजः।।।।जानन्तौ तौ न कुर्यातां नोर्य्वां हि मम मार्गणम्।
nājānāj jīvatīṃ rāmas sa māṃ lakṣmaṇapūrvajaḥ |
jānantau tau na kuryātāṃ norvyāṃ hi mama mārgaṇam ||
ലക്ഷ്മണന്റെ അഗ്രജനായ രാമൻ ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ ജീവനോടെ ഉണ്ടെന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ല. ആ രണ്ടുപേരും അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, ഭൂമിയൊട്ടാകെ എന്നെ തേടുന്നതിൽ അവർ ഒരിക്കലും മടിക്കുമായിരുന്നില്ല.
"Neither Lakshmana nor his elder brother knows that I am here alive. (Had they known) both of them would have ransacked this earth.
