समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः

Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

स तस्य गिरिवर्यस्य तले नागवरायुते।तिष्ठन् कपिवरस्तत्र ह्रदे नाग इवाबभौ।।।।

sa tasya girivaryasya tale nāgavarāyute | tiṣṭhan kapivaras tatra hrade nāga ivābabhau ||

ആ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ പർവ്വതത്തിന്റെ അടിവാരത്ത്, മഹാനാഗവർഗ്ഗമായ ആനകൾ നിറഞ്ഞിടത്ത് നിന്ന കപിവരൻ, ഹ്രദത്തിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന ആനയെപ്പോലെ ശോഭിച്ചു.
