समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
पद्भ्यां दृढमवस्थानं कृत्वा स कपिकुञ्जरः।निकुञ्च्य कर्णौ हनुमानुत्पतिष्यन् महाबलः।।वानरान् वानरश्रेष्ठ इदं वचनमब्रवीत्।।।।
padbhyāṁ dṛḍham avasthānaṁ kṛtvā sa kapikuñjaraḥ | nikuñcya karṇau hanumān utpatiṣyan mahābalaḥ || vānarān vānaraśreṣṭha idaṁ vacanam abravīt ||
കാലുകൾ ഉറപ്പായി നട്ടുനിർത്തി, വാനരങ്ങളിൽ ഗജരാജനെപ്പോലെയുള്ള മഹാബലവാൻ ഹനുമാൻ ചെവികളെ ചുരുക്കി, ചാടുവാൻ ഒരുങ്ങി, വാനരശ്രേഷ്ഠനായി വാനരന്മാരോട് ഈ വചനം പറഞ്ഞു.
