समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः

Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing

काकुत्स्थस्यानृशंस्यं च मैथिल्याश्च विवासनम्।।।।श्रमं च प्लवगेन्द्रस्य समीक्ष्योत्थातुमर्हसि।

kākutsthasyānṛśaṁsyaṁ ca maithilyāś ca vivāsanam |

śramaṁ ca plavagendrasya samīkṣyotthātum arhasi ||

കാകുത്സ്ഥനായ രാമന്റെ കരുണയും, മൈഥിലിയുടെ അന്യായമായ ദുരവസ്ഥയും, പ്ലവഗേന്ദ്രനായ ഹനുമാന്റെ പരിശ്രമവും വിചാരിച്ചാൽ—നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് സഹായം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.
