पञ्चषष्टितमः सर्गः — वानराणां प्लवन-पराक्रम-निरूपणम्
Assessment of the Vanaras’ Leaping Capacity; Jambavan Motivates Hanuman
सम्प्रत्येतावतीं शक्तिं गमने तर्कयाम्यहम्।नैतावता हि संसिद्धिः कार्यस्यास्य भविष्यति।।।।
sampraty etāvatīṃ śaktiṃ gamane tarkayāmy aham |
na etāvatā hi saṃsiddhiḥ kāryasyāsya bhaviṣyati ||
ഇപ്പോൾ യാത്രയ്ക്കുള്ള എന്റെ ശക്തി ഇത്രയേ ഉള്ളൂ എന്ന് ഞാൻ കണക്കാക്കുന്നു; ഇത്ര മാത്രം കൊണ്ടു ഈ ദൗത്യത്തിന്റെ സിദ്ധി ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല.
