पुरा वृत्रवधे वृत्ते परस्परजयैषिणौ।आदित्यमुपयातौ स्वो ज्वलन्तं रश्मिमालिनम्।।4.58.4।।
purā vṛtra-vadhe vṛtte paraspara-jayaiṣiṇau |
ādityam upayātau svaḥ jvalantaṁ raśmi-mālinam ||
പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് വൃത്രവധം സംഭവിച്ച ശേഷം, പരസ്പരം ജയിക്കണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ ഞങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും കിരണമാലയാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ട് ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന സൂര്യദേവന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് പറന്നു ചെന്നു.
