ऋक्षबिलप्रवेशः
Entry into the Rikshabilam Cave
पुष्पितान्फलिनो वृक्षान्प्रवाळमणिसन्निभान्।।।।काञ्चनभ्रमरांश्चैव मधूनि च समन्ततः।
puṣpitān phalino vṛkṣān pravāḷamaṇisannibhān॥4.50.32॥
kāñcanabhramarāṁś caiva madhūni ca samantataḥ |
അവർ പുഷ്പിതവും ഫലഭാരിതവുമായ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു—പ്രവാളമണിപോലെ ദീപ്തിയോടെ. കൂടാതെ എല്ലാടവും കാഞ്ചനസമമായ ഭ്രമരങ്ങളെയും പലവിധ മധുവിനെയും അവർ ദർശിച്ചു.
The vanaras beheld highrise palaces built with gold and silver. The windows fixed on the roof were golden, shaped like cow's eye with lattices of pearls. They also saw best of houses built in gold, silver and clay, decorated with precious gems including vaidurya.
Abundance is portrayed without endorsement of indulgence; dharma is to enjoy the world responsibly and not abandon one’s truth-bound obligations.
The vanaras continue to witness extraordinary natural riches—fruit, flowers, bees, and honey—in the hidden realm.
Moderation: the capacity to face plenty without losing discipline.
