एते वानरमूख्याश्च शतशश्शत्रुसूदन।प्राप्ताश्चादाय बलिनः पृथिव्यां सर्ववानरान्।।4.38.27।।
ete vānaramūkhyāś ca śataśaḥ śatrusūdana | prāptāś ca ādāya balinaḥ pṛthivyāṃ sarvavānarān ||
ഹേ ശത്രുസൂദന! ഇവർ വാനരന്മാരിലെ മുഖ്യന്മാർ; നൂറുകണക്കിന് പേർ ആയി എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ബലവാന്മാരായ അവർ ഭൂമിയാകെ നിന്നുള്ള എല്ലാ വാനരന്മാരെയും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്ത് ഇവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
