तच्चापि जानामि यथविषह्यंबलं नरश्रेष्ठ शरीरजस्य।जानामि यस्मिंश्च जनेऽवबद्धंकामेन सुग्रीवमसक्तमद्य।।।।
taccāpi jānāmi yathāviṣahyaṃ balaṃ naraśreṣṭha śarīrajasya | jānāmi yasmiṃś ca jane 'vabaddhaṃ kāmena sugrīvam asaktam adya ||
കൂടാതെ, ഹേ നരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ, ശരീരജന്യമായ കാമത്തിന്റെ ബലം എത്ര അപ്രതിരോധ്യമാണെന്നും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു। സുഗ്രീവൻ ഇപ്പോൾ ഏതോ ഒരാളോടുള്ള ആസക്തിയാൽ ബന്ധിതനായി, തന്റെ പ്രതിജ്ഞയിൽ ശിഥിലനായിരിക്കുന്നതും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു॥
