हनूमत्संवादः / Hanuman’s Diplomatic Approach to Rama and Lakshmana
तत्तस्य वाक्यं निपुणं निशम्यप्रहृष्टरूपः पवनात्मजः कपिः।मनस्समाधाय जयोपपत्तौसख्यं तदा कर्तुमियेष ताभ्याम्।।
tat tasya vākyaṃ nipuṇaṃ niśamya
prahṛṣṭarūpaḥ pavanātmajaḥ kapiḥ |
manas samādhāya jayopapattau
sakhyaṃ tadā kartum iyeṣa tābhyām ||
അവന്റെ നിപുണമായ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ പവനാത്മജനായ കപി ഹനുമാൻ ആനന്ദത്തിൽ ദീപ്തനായി; ജയസിദ്ധിയുടെ പ്രതീക്ഷയിൽ മനസ്സുറപ്പിച്ച്, അപ്പോൾ അവൻ ആ ഇരുവരോടും സഖ്യം സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു.
Pleased with Lakshmana's words spoken in a skilful manner, Hanuman, the monkey son of the Wind-god, resolved to make friendship with them.ityārṣē śrīmadrāmāyaṇē vālmīkīya ādikāvyē kiṣkindhākāṇḍē tṛtīyassargaḥ৷৷Thus ends the third sarga of Kishkindakanda of the Holy Ramayana, the first epic composed by sage Valmiki.
Sakhya-dharma (the ethics of friendship): friendship is formed through trust, clear intention, and a shared commitment to righteous success.
After Lakshmana’s measured reply, Hanuman becomes confident of a fruitful alliance and resolves to establish friendship between Rama-Lakshmana and Sugriva’s side.
