उभौ योग्यावहं मन्ये रक्षितुं पृथिवीमिमाम्।ससागरवनां कृत्स्नां विन्ध्यमेरुविभूषिताम्।।
ubhau yogyāv ahaṃ manye rakṣituṃ pṛthivīm imām |
sa-sāgara-vanāṃ kṛtsnāṃ vindhya-meru-vibhūṣitām || 4.3.15 ||
സമുദ്രങ്ങളും വനങ്ങളും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന, വിന്ധ്യ-മേരുവിന്മുതലായ പർവ്വതങ്ങൾ അലങ്കരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സമസ്ത ഭൂമിയെ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കാൻ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും യോഗ്യരെന്നു ഞാൻ കരുതുന്നു.
