वालिनः और्ध्वदैहिकम्
Vali’s Funeral Rites and the Consolation of the Bereaved
ततः प्रणिहिताः सर्वा वानर्योस्य वशानुगाः4.25.33।।चुक्रुशु र्वीर वीरेति भूयः क्रोशन्ति ताः स्त्रीयः।
tataḥ praṇihitāḥ sarvā vānaryo 'sya vaśānugāḥ || 4.25.33 ||
cukruśur vīra vīreti bhūyaḥ krośanti tāḥ striyaḥ |
പിന്നീട് അവന്റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന എല്ലാ വാനരസ്ത്രീകളോടും അറിയിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ആ സ്ത്രീകൾ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ‘വീരാ, വീരാ!’ എന്നു വിളിച്ചു കരുണമായി നിലവിളിച്ചു.
