Tara’s Lament and Counsel after Vali’s Fall
सुप्त्वेव पुनरुत्थाय आर्यपुत्रेति शोचती।।रुरोद सा पतिं दृष्ट्वा संवीतं मृत्युदामभिः।
suptveva punar utthāya āryaputreti śocatī || ruroda sā patiṃ dṛṣṭvā saṃvītaṃ mṛtyudāmabhiḥ |
നിദ്രയിൽ നിന്നുണർന്നതുപോലെ അവൾ വീണ്ടും എഴുന്നേറ്റ് “ആര്യപുത്രാ!” എന്നു വിളിച്ചു ശോകിച്ചു കരഞ്ഞു. മരണപാശങ്ങളെന്നപോലെ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റിയ മാലകളാൽ പൊതിഞ്ഞ തന്റെ ഭർത്താവിനെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൾ വിലപിച്ചു.
