Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma

तस्य धर्मकृतादेशा वयमन्ये च पार्थिवाः।चरामो वसुधां कृत्स्नां धर्मसन्तानमिच्छवः।।

Transliteration

tasya dharmakṛtādeśā vayam anye ca pārthivāḥ | carāmo vasudhāṃ kṛtsnāṃ dharmasantānam icchavaḥ ||

Translation

ധർമ്മം ആധാരമാക്കി രൂപപ്പെടുത്തിയ അവന്റെ ആജ്ഞകൾ സ്വീകരിച്ച്, ഞങ്ങളും മറ്റു ഭൂപതികളും സർവ്വ ഭൂമിയിലും സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു; ധർമ്മപരമ്പര നിലനിൽക്കുകയും വളരുകയും ചെയ്യണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ.
