किष्किन्धायां सुग्रीवस्य नादः
Sugriva’s War-Cry at Kishkindha
सफलां च करिष्यामि प्रतिज्ञां जहि सम्भ्रमम्।प्रसूतं कलमं क्षेत्रे वर्षेणेव शतक्रतुः4.14.15।।
saphalāṃ ca kariṣyāmi pratijñāṃ jahi sambhramam | prasūtaṃ kalamaṃ kṣetre varṣeṇeva śatakratuḥ ||
ഞാൻ എന്റെ പ്രതിജ്ഞ ഫലവത്താക്കും; നീ ഭ്രമവും ആശങ്കയും വിട്ടുകളയുക. ശതക്രതു ഇന്ദ്രൻ സമയോചിതമായ മഴയാൽ വയലിലെ വിളയെ പാകമാക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, ഞാൻ ഇതിനെ സഫലമാക്കും.
