प्रिया तु सीता रामस्य दारा: पितृकृता इति।गुणाद्रूपगुणाच्चापि प्रीतिर्भूयोऽभ्यवर्धत।।1.77.29।।
priyā tu sītā rāmasya dārāḥ pitṛkṛtā iti |
guṇād rūpaguṇāc cāpi prītir bhūyo 'bhyavardhata ||1.77.29||
പിതാവിന്റെ ക്രമീകരണപ്രകാരം സീത രാമന്റെ ധർമ്മപത്നിയായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും, അവളുടെ ഗുണങ്ങളാലും രൂപസൗന്ദര്യത്താലും രാമന്റെ പ്രീതി അവളോടു കൂടുതൽ കൂടുതൽ വർദ്ധിച്ചു।
