बालकाण्डे षट्सप्ततितमः सर्गः
Rāma Subdues Paraśurāma; the Vaiṣṇava Arrow Is Discharged
श्रुतवानस्मि यत्कर्म कृतवानसि भार्गव।अनुरुंध्यामहे ब्रह्मन् पितुरानृण्यमास्थितम्।।।।
śrutavān asmi yat karma kṛtavān asi bhārgava | anuruṅdhyāmahe brahman pitur ānṛṇyam āsthitam ||
ഹേ ഭാർഗവ, നീ ചെയ്ത കര്മ്മങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണ, പിതൃഋണം തീർക്കാനുള്ള ധർമ്മം നീ ഏറ്റെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു—ഞങ്ങൾ അതിനെ അംഗീകരിച്ച് പ്രശംസിക്കുന്നു.
