जनककुलवर्णनम् तथा सीतोर्मिलादानम्

स च मे प्रेषयामास शैवं धनुरनुत्तमम्।सीता कन्या च पद्माक्षी मह्यं वै दीयतामिति।।।।

sa ca me preṣayāmāsa śaivaṃ dhanur anuttamam |

sītā kanyā ca padmākṣī mahyaṃ vai dīyatām iti ||

അവൻ എനിക്ക് സന്ദേശം അയച്ചു: “അനുത്തമമായ ശൈവധനുസ്സു എനിക്ക് തരിക; കൂടാതെ പദ്മാക്ഷിയായ കന്യക സീതയെയും എനിക്ക് തന്നേ നൽകുക” എന്നു.
