वंशवर्णनम् तथा विवाहप्रार्थना

तमृषिं साऽभ्युपागम्य कालिंदी चाभ्यवादयत्।।1.70.33।।स तामभ्यवदद्विप्र: पुत्रेप्सुं पुत्रजन्मनि।
tam ṛṣiṁ sā 'bhyupāgamya kāliṅdī cābhyavādayat | sa tām abhyavadad vipraḥ putrepsuṁ putrajanmani || 1.70.33 ||
ആ ഋഷിയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു കാലിന്ദി ഭക്തിപൂർവ്വം നമസ്കരിച്ചു. പുത്രലാഭത്തിനും പുത്രജന്മത്തിനും ആഗ്രഹിച്ചിരുന്ന അവളോടു ആ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു.
